Serious Child is the artist name of Alan Young, who discovered music later in life and now travels around the UK performing original songs.  His latest record is What Lies Beneath, 12 original songs about life. Alan also produces other artists and, with his partner Kate, runs a not for profit musical venue in the UK, Petworth Sessions. Serious Child offers songs that reflect personal experience and also look at societal issues like isolation, community, and relationship.
