Seventeen weather alerts are in effect across Alaska today, including wind advisories, flood warnings. And flood advisories impacting communities from the Panhandle to the North Slope. The most pressing concern is the Wind Advisory for parts of Southcentral Alaska, where east winds of 15 to 25 miles per hour with gusts up to 45 miles per hour are expected.
