19 May 1915 Albert Jacka staged a one man counter attack at Courtney's Post that may have saved the ANZAC beachhead from collapsing. His actions earned him Australia's first Victoria Cross for World War 1. Jackas story did not end in Gallipoli as he went on to numerous epic feats of bravery on the Western Front.
