Danielle Smith she is a Canadian politician, former lobbyist, and former columnist and media personality who has been serving as the 19th premier of Alberta and leader of the United Conservative Party (UCP) since October 2022. She was elected as the UCP leader after Jason Kenney resigned in May 20222. She won the provincial election in May 2023, defeating the incumbent New Democratic Party led by Rachel Notley.
