This adventurer was an aviation pioneer. He had his start with hot air balloons and was a big wig in the race for aeronautical travel. Hailing from Brazil he spent most of his life in Paris, France working with the best on what would become the airplane. He mesmerized the world with his balloon airships and is still looked at as a pillar of the air.
