Special guest Michael Rae joins Troy and Ryan on the podcast this week bringing along a piece of UK blues history: Savoy Brown, Street Corner Talking. We talk through the history of this beloved blues band while also sharing some new music from the Permanent Records studio, including Grow Cocker and Brews Brothers.

Troy and Ryan review the best rock opera ever made: The Wall by Pink Floyd. Troy's vinyl is a true original pressing, making for a very unique artifact of music history. The guys also share some tracks off of Stink Lloyd's own epic rock opera: The Fence.

Troy and Ryan dig into the 2012 indie folk rock album Fear Fun by Father John Misty. The music industry tycoons also introduce never-before-heard tracks from two new artists (recently signed to Permanent Records) following a similar style and groove: Papa John Windy and Mother Jane Whiskey.

This week Troy and Ryan review the classic 1972 Krautrock masterpiece "Ege Bamyasi" by 'Can.' Of course the co-founders of Permanent Records also share some brand new, never-before-heard tracks from their newly signed artist 'Can't.' The musical influences of Can't draw heavily upon Can, but with their own flair and personal contributions, opening up about their own oppressions and vulnerabilities in their lyrics. Enjoy!
