Do you know whether or not your teen is drinking?

When it comes to teen behaviors, I believe this adage rings particularly true: never assume anything. I’ve seen so many parents blindly trust that their son or daughter would never experiment with alcohol. Their assumption sometimes ended up being way off-base.

Recent statistics report that underage kids make up for 11 percent of the alcohol consumed in the United States. Mom, Dad, that’s too big of a percentage for us to ignore!

I sincerely hope that your own son or daughter is not included in that number. But don’t make assumptions on this critical issue. Keep an eye on what your teen us up to, and lay down clear boundaries on alcohol use today.
