The award-winning historical fiction author, Ms. Alda P. Dobbs, is on the program this evening. I’m so exciting to be chatting with her.
Ms. Alda is taking us back to 1913 and the world of twelve-year-old Petra Luna as she leads her family to safety in a “perilous journey to cross the U.S. border during the Mexican Revolution.” This incredible journey is based on a true story. I’m so inspired not only by this book but also by Ms. Alda’s perseverance to bring her book to live.
