On one hand, it’s remarkable that Monona’s Aldo Leopold Nature Center is now in its thirtieth year of operation. On the other hand, the center’s nature summer camps for kids, educational outings and special events have become such a part of the fabric of the Madison area, that it’s hard to remember that they haven’t been around forever. Cara Erickson is the marketing and communications coordinator for the Aldo Leopold Nature Center, and she joins us now in the studio to tell us about how they’re celebrating their auspicious anniversary.
