Alex Berg interview (Gen Z comedian/Indiana native)
Alex Berg gets mistaken as Jesse Eisenberg a lot although he's not Jewish. When I first met him, I thought he was Jesse Eisenberg and I got super excited for no reason.
Alex is a Gen-Z LA comedian/Indianapolis native who moved here to California to pursue the standup life. He's one of few Gen-Z people I get along with. I think I'm older than him by about 50 years. He also seems pretty smart despite his appearance. Alex is great at weaving in and out of material & leaning into spontaneity on stage. I saw Alex at my first ComedyBlvd show killing it in 2023. He regularly hosts at the Flappers Comedy Club on Thursdays. We talked about his childhood upbringing in Indiana, LA comedy scene, his journey into comedy and his love of Superman/Batman Beyond/Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
