A percussive finger-style guitar player is in our midst today. Alex Brubaker is in multiple ways unique to the local music scene. Not only is his guitar playing style non-conventional, as in using the guitar for percussion, he uses his pedal board in such away that it blows my mind at the hand and feet coordination going on here. In this episode, and it is a little longer, he plays four songs for us and explains a lot about his technique, writing in this genre, and the really really long time he’s been taking on getting us his next record.
