The Christmas Eve episode! Another long day on the river, this episode chronicles a 2-part walk taken as means to escape looming boredom in favor of getting out into the light of day and enjoying. The first walk is a simple grocery run but the second is a more exciting route to faithful ekimae via Asakawa. This episode was intended to contain one more clip but the episode was complete enough with just these segments so the conclusion will have to be saved for the next episode. Fuji looked beautiful today. I stood on a pedestrian overpass and just marveled at its size and beauty nearly oblivious to the bone-chilling cold. I stood there staring upon glory shorts and all.
