“I am a licensed mental health counselor in the state of Iowa. I am a proud mama to two dogs, two cats and one independent, opinionated 1.5 year old. I specialize in working with kids & families, survivors of abuse and the LBGTQ+ community. I was awarded the "2018 Rookie of the Year" by the Iowa Association for Play Therapy. My practice, The M.A.D. Therapy, PLLC, is growing to meet the demands of my community and I am excited about connecting clinicians in the process. When therapists are better supported clients receive better treatment. I believe my purpose as a provider is not only to assist my clients, but assist clinicians in their growth too. I believe that therapy should be a balance of hard work and laughter. After all, balance is the key to all!”
