Socialist Democrat Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has stuck the people’s foot in her mouth this week when she stated the “United States is running concentration camps at our southern border.” AOC has rejected invitations from Poland to see actual concentration camps. Podcast 76 will discuss how AOC is more like the fascist from the past that she accuses conservatives of being.

No doubt the use of social media has completely changed the landscape of politics in our country. Now millennials and Gen Z get most of their political news from social media. This has lead to the growth of people like AOC, Rashida Tlaib, and Ilhan Omar. Real thinkers and knowledgable people who could get business done for our country are replaced by those who can get a lot of followers.
AOC made about our detention centers was made via an Instagram live stream. Ocasio-Cortez did not stop there. She then doubled down on her video by making sure those in twitter world heard her also by tweeting the same thing.

The Basis for Ocasio-Cortez Statement on Conentration Camps
AOC commented amid news reports that young migrant children are being held at overcrowded facilities. Facilities that lack basic sanitation necessities and pose health issues. Our resources are strained, that is true. As a matter of fact, border patrol agents are donating items such as clothes to the centers to make sure the children are clothed. Many of the children come into America illegally by coyotes in the same clothes they left their home in.
Ocasio-Cortez refuses invitation to visit Concentration Camp
Alan Dershowitz, who recently said he would support Joe Biden over President Donald Trump in 2020, said Ocasio-Cortez’s “concentration camp” claim made her a “Holocaust denier.” Bill Maher, host of HBO’s Real Time with Bill Maher, and a determined foe of President Trump criticized her on his show Friday evening: “If you want to run a campaign based on reparations and concentration camps then it’s going to be very hard to win the election.” Rabbi Shmuley Boteach published a full-page ad in the New York Times.
