Hey Dads,

Are you think of going to the Alexandria Zoo in Alexandria LA? We are here in November, and it’s a beautiful day. We had a great time at this zoo because the zoo is so intimate and you can get really close to a lot of the animals at this zoological park.

My favorite exhibit was the African Lion exhibit because they had a faux african hut with a huge piece of class splitting the hut in two and you can get really close to the lions at this exhibit.

We decided to take the train around the zoo, and for $2 per person is was just okay. I was really disappointed that you couldn’t see many of the animals and the conductor didn’t talk to you about the animals. It was very lackluster and I feel that they mainly get use out of it during the Christmas season when they have all of the Christmas lights on since there were a bunch of those setup along the train’s route.

Everything else at the park was really nicely themed, and the animals looked like they had some really nice habitats. They also had some really interesting animals that I didn’t expect to see at this zoo.
