Alex's Assemble with Alexandra Donnachie!

Listen Later

This week I'm joined by the amazing actor-writer Alexandra Donnachie. We discuss Alex's acting inspiration, her near career as a paramedic, her training at University of Northampton and Central School Of Speech & Drama. We talk about her autobiographical show Three Years, One Week and A Lemon Drizzle which she created with her sister Kate Donnachie, When We Died (Longlisted for the Bruntwood Prize 2017, Vaults Festival 2020 with Carbon Theatre) her upcoming show 28, her love of Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Battersea Arts Centre and much more. A really fun and enjoyable episode.
Trigger warning: Please be aware at times during the podcast we touch on performances that address themes including sexual violence, death and eating disorders.
