On Butterflies of Wisdom today (Monday, December 11, 2017), Best-Selling Author, Win C welcomes Alie Walsh Dame.  Alie is an alumni of Theatre Aspen’s First Apprentice class

. She is a native Oklahoman and graduate of the Weitzenho$er School of Musical Theatre at the University of Oklahoma (2013). Alie performed with the University Theatre and Lyric Theatre of Oklahoma. She was most recently seen with Theatre Aspen in You're A Good Man 

Charlie Brown (Sally) and Little Women (Beth). She currently directs, choreographs and teaches for the Theatre Aspen School, and invites everyone to see Once Upon a Mattress this August.  Much love and endless gratitude to her parents, Jenny and Micah, and all the amazing TAS students. Alie is a performer, teacher, wife and new mom. She spent four summers with Theatre Aspen appearing in “You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown,” “Little Women,” “Cabaret” “Mamma Mia,” and “Dear Edwina.” She directed and choreographed many productions for Theatre Aspen School and taught for both Aspen Public Schools and Aspen Country Day School. She is passionate about theatre and special education and considers herself an advocate for individuals with disabilities. Alie’s son Lucas has Down syndrome and is the light of her life. .
