This week, Sophie takes us north of the border to Scotland to tell us more about the only potential alien abduction investigated by police in the UK, the case of Robert Taylor.

Robert Taylor who was a forestry worker, a respected veteran, churchgoer and teetotaller, reported seeing an alien spaceship in woods where he worked near Livingston over 40 years ago.

When speaking to detective Ian Wark, Taylor described how he saw a 30ft-high "dome-shaped" object in a clearing where 'sea-mine' like objects appeared from it before rushing to grab him.

The police took the rips to his clothing and his injuries as evidence of an attack, but couldn't confirm what actually happened to him.

Strange markings found at the site of Taylors abduction were never fully quantified.

Over the years, Taylor's testimony never changed and he regularly spoke with ufologists about his experience.
