Members Reviews:
Alien Agent, Zack Gaither, is once again on the job to plead Earth's case to the Galactic Union ...
Zack's parents figured he was way too old to go trick-or-treating, but he and his friend, Ken, had everything figured out. They'd stuff their trick-or-treat bags under their costumes and get some loot before and after the Halloween party at the school gym. There were lots of goodies to be had, but Zack figured "the guy who gave out candied prunes ought to be jailed." Ken spotted a couple of fat bald guys, who were obviously Gnairt. Zack had never met a good Gnairt, so obviously something bad was up in the universe. Neither one of the guys saw anyone they wanted to dance with at the party, but Zack thought that dancing with Shasta would be nice. All of a sudden, she appeared ...
Shasta O'Neil's grandfather, a Native American medicine-man, told her that her future was "tied up with star spirits." Until a couple of years ago, Zack didn't know that he himself was "an alien living among humans." He was just learning about his special powers and was just learning how to use them. Heck, he could even manipulate cell molecules and energy. That is, if he knew how. Zack was an Alien Agent and the appearance of the Gnairt meant trouble, but what could it be?
Pfffft! Trouble quickly erupted and Vraj appeared by Zack's side to help defend him from energy beams aimed in his direction. Agents Sorn and Khh, a winged cat, were on the scene to whisk him away on an awaiting spaceship. Danger! Danger! Could it be the Gnairt or the Kiapa Kapa Syndicate? They were going to try to head to the Galactic Union headquarters where Zack would speak on behalf of Earth. Huh? It was the only way that Earth would be allowed to join the union. It wouldn't be long before they faced a deadly ambush. "Defense shields up!" Would they make it to the stars or would they be able to make their escape by jumping into transluminal space?
Alien Agent, Zack Gaither, is once again on the job to plead Earth's case to the Galactic Union. No doubt that Zack is the best kid agent in town, or the universe for that matter, and I definitely enjoy reading about his adventures. A surprise addition to the series is Shasta, who has special spirit powers of her own. She, like Zack, is just coming into her own as she learns how to use them. My favorite weird alien creatures were the Jibjibs, "hopping, squealing, biting jelly beans," critters I wouldn't want to see arrive on my doorstep, but love to read about. Shasta did claim that "This is better than any reality TV Show," and I think I might have to agree with the young spirit girl.
