Teaching Yourself to Learn

Aligning With Our Identities with Pam Mantay

Listen Later

So often we feel like we need to hide certain parts of our identities, whether that is through protecting others, protecting ourselves or what we believe is best for us at the time. Pam Mantay did exactly that. After being diagnosed with sickle cell disease at four years old, Pam values the importance of digging deep to focus on what's important in order to fulfil our purpose. Listen as Holly and Pam discuss:

  • The uncertainty of chronic illness and fear that unfortunately is learnt through hiding from ourselves and our faith.
  • Not being afraid to step into something new, expand and embrace into our identities.
  • How if you don’t know who you are that can create a misalignment within our decisions, opportunities and relationships.
  • Finding out who you really are and encompassing all of it.

Pam’s story is inspirational and heartwarming as she leads empires and is building a life she never could have imagined.
