Alison Scotland cut her professional teeth in the challenging world of Standards Australia.
Today she runs the Australian Sustainable Built Environment Council. 
So, you could say she’s had perfect training for the diplomatic minefield she now has to tread in her current job of getting agreement on built environment policy from a wide range of stakeholders.
