True peace was at the heart of God’s original creation, and God has a plan for us to enjoy peace now. Having made stunning promises of peace during his life, Jesus then secured peace for all time though his death and resurrection. Peace freed the disciples from guilt, fear and anxiety, before they were filled with a positive vision of the future, and in the same way, God’s peace empowers us to follow our purpose.
Have you ever met someone who changed your life? If we’re lucky, we might meet more than one inspirational person and take meaningful things from each encounter. In this series, ALIVE, we retell the stories of some of the people who met Jesus himself after his resurrection and whose lives were transformed by him. And through these people, we learn that those encounters are still relevant for our lives today. Need hope? Need peace? Come and hear, or watch online, and discover how to find them!
