Alive - Fulfilling our Purpose (Emily Hannah)
Have you ever met someone who changed your life? If we’re lucky, we might meet more than one inspirational person and take meaningful things from each encounter. In this series, ALIVE, we retell the stories of some of the people who met Jesus himself after his resurrection and whose lives were transformed by him. And through these people, we learn that those encounters are still relevant for our lives today. Need hope? Need peace? Come and hear, or watch online, and discover how to find them!
Sadly, we can sometimes settle for less than a life that is fully fulfilled, or our purpose can be misguided. When Jesus met with Saul on the road to Damascus, he was given three things that are still part of what it means for us to have a sense of purpose today: a transformed motivation, an eternal perspective and a unique pathway. A life with a true sense of purpose is offered by Jesus when he joins his mission with ours: go and make disciples.
