how this effects the price point of each accommodation option.
After I discuss the differences between hostels and hotels, I dive into the things you should being looking for, as well as the things that should raise some red flags, when planning to book a stay at a hostel. From where you should look to find the best info and the overall security of the hostel, to its location and extra amenities and activities a hostel offers, I’ve got you covered.
I wrap up this week’s episode by touching on an alternative accommodation option that is perfect for the budget traveller… house sitting! This was recommended to me by
a friend and is something that’s becoming more and more popular amongst those looking to save when travelling. While it requires some work, house sitting is one of, if not the most, cost effective accommodation option when travelling to another country.
