Grab your swimsuit and sunglasses. It’s time to hit the water park. The original idea for waterslides came from the Midwest, when Minnesota resident Herbert Sellner built a wooden structure that emptied into water. In 1923, it was called the Water-Toboggan Slide. Herbert later invented the beloved carnival ride known as the Tilt-A-Whirl. This guy knew how to have fun. Cape Splash is bringing fun and excitement with a no-kids-allowed Adult Beach Bash on Thursday, June 20th from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
