  • 12 Years Old and Competing with Professionals: The UTV Racing Journey of Jett Chambers

If you’ve been keeping up with our podcast, you know we love bringing on our sponsored riders and influencers from across the powersports industry. This year, we signed someone who isn’t even old enough to drive yet.

    Introducing Jett Chambers.

When Cody Willenborg introduced us to Jett and his family at King of the Hammers this year, we immediately knew we wanted to work with him. At just 12 years old, Jett is already lining up against grown professional race teams and competing in some of the toughest UTV races in the country.

In this episode, we talk with Jett about how he got started in UTV racing, what gave him the confidence to compete against adults, becoming a Youth 1000 Ultra4 champion, learning to wrench alongside his dad, and the racing goals he’s chasing next.

We also compare what Matt and Steve were doing at 12 years old to everything Jett is already accomplishing.

If you’ve ever thought you were too young, too old, too inexperienced, or too behind, we hope this conversation reminds you that age is just a number. If there’s something you want to do, go out and chase it.

12-year-old, small town Iowa kid during the week. Ultra4 racer traveling the country on the Weekends.

Click play to hear all of this and:

[00:00] How Jett went from trail riding to starting his UTV racing journey at just 10 years old.

[05:00] What it takes to compete against professional race teams at only 12 years old.

[10:00] How Jett’s family stays connected at races when cell service and Wi-Fi aren’t an option.

[15:00] Jett shares his future racing goals and the next UTV build he’s taking on.

[18:00] The parts Jett trusts on his race rig and what he’s learned wrenching alongside his Dad.

[22:00] How Jett balances being a 12-year-old student with racing Ultra4 across the Country.
