Being light skinned and coming from a family where I share both black and white was difficult for me growing up. I always heard the names , and just judgment of me without forming a real perception because I was lighter . Lighter complexed individuals get the wrap of being “damn near white “or feeling as though they are “better “ or “stuck up “and I’m here to tell you that is UNTRUE. You cannot judge someone WITHOUT knowing them 🗣👑🌻
