If you haven't listened to Part 1 of our enneagram series, go do that now and come back!
In this episode, we go even deeper into the world of the enneagram. When did it start? Who started it? How did it gain popularity in the modern christian church?
We also get raw and real with a "therapy" session you don't want to miss!
Yep, we're going there!
Listen, we love a good personality test just as much as the next gal. They're fun and feel like they give insight to who we are as people and what makes us tick.
The enneagram took the world by storm several years ago (although, it's been around a lot longer that!) and has been seeping into churches and christian culture ever since.
After learning of its origins, we both decided to dig deeper into it. Can it have a place in a christians life or is it something to mark and avoid?
In this episode, we deep dive what the enneagram is, how it works, and Brittneys experience with almost becoming an enneagram coach!
Christian holistic/wellness influencers. You've seen them and probably follow some of them on social media. They share how you can live life as naturally as possible through their beautifully curated and aesthetic feeds. And while they have offered solid and useful information in the past, there has recently been a "shift" in their content and beliefs. We have noticed a lot of new age practices as well as unbiblical teaching starting to spread.
Today, we explore the world of new age creeping into christianity and the lies we've been lead to believe by people we trust (heads up- we dive deeper than just social media influencers, these things are also running rampant in the modern day church and ministries.)

Like most Christians who saw or heard about the offensive opening ceremony of the Paris Olympics, we were saddened.
After seeing post after post on social media talking about the godlessness of it all, we discuss our feelings towards christian "outrage culture". Do our reactions to the world doing what the world does best (aka sin) matter? Could our reactions make or break someone coming to know Jesus? How can we love others even in offense?
Let's get political!
Elections cycles can bring big feels, we get it.
We also understand that a lot of times, we tend to let our views, whether they be "left" or "right" leaning, define us and the way we react to others who think differently. We've also noticed some Christian "gatekeeping" in the conservative party.
After what happened this past weekend with the assassination attempt of former U.S. president Donald J. Trump and the reactions that followed, we wanted to turn the conversation back to Jesus.
Some of the conversation may make you feel a bit uncomfy, but we urge you to listen to this episode with an open mind and remember that no matter how you identify politically, how you represent the gospel and show the love of Christ to those who think differently than you is crucial to moving forward as a country and community.
NOTE: We are not becoming political commentators and are not going in depth into different issues and policies.
Yay! We are back with a brand new episode featuring some life updates, reasons for our hiatus, and why it's okay to take a break (especially when it comes to ministry work.)
This Sunday marks 50 days after Easter and do you know what that means? It's Pentecost! We talk through the significance of this Jewish feast, where it is found in the Bible, why it mattered back then, and why it is still important for us today! If you have never heard of Pentecost or don't know much about it, this episode is for you!
