Hey, queens hey!
We’re back with season 3!! We enjoyed our hiatus, but we are excited to be back with a new episode! It seems like a lot has happened while we were gone. Most recently, Beyonce and Jay-Z released their joint album Everything is Love. This album is the perfect aftermath of both 444 and Lemonade, and it appears that they have arrived at a place of forgiveness and happiness within their relationship. But everybody is not Beyonce and Jay-Z, and the idea of being a ride or die chick is a toxic standard that many women aspire to. Being a ride or die chick is subjective, but the overall expectation is that a woman will be there for her man no matter what, even if he steps out. A woman’s worthiness and compatibility can pretty much be measured by how much crap she will put up with. And that is not the kind of ride or die chick that puts her needs first. Being a ride or die in any relationship or friendship should really be measured by how much you push someone towards their best self while holding them accountable to do right by you.
Join us as we discuss the meaning of a ride or die, as well as the downside. We will also chime in on the foolishness of the hot topics. Also, keep an eye on the Queens Like Us IG and Facebook page for upcoming events!
