Exciting news at Westwater! Thanks to SNN for this wonderful interview.

Westwater is clearly putting their investment fully into the graphite battery market. We are poised to sell our uranium business, to Encore Energy of Vancouver, enabling a singular focus on our booming graphite business. Presently we are in construction a graphite pilot plant in Germany. This pilot plant is designed to produce more than 10 tons of battery grade graphite and is expected commission in mid-November 2020. Currently we have three locations in Germany, a location in upstate New York and location in Illinois to enable this supply chain.

Graphite is essential for every kind of battery whether it be a car or a flashlight. This is most exciting for the electronic vehicle market. Manufacturers in a variety of different markets are interested in Westwater Resources battery graphite material and our new VP of Sales and Marketing, Jay Wago, is communicating with interested buyers and looking into setting up pricing and distribution contracts.
