Statistics Canada states family-owned businesses account for 63.1 percent of all private sector firms in the Canadian economy and generated 48.9 percent of Canada's real Gross Domestic Product in the private sector, at $574.6 billion. More than 90 percent of the jobs supported by family-owned businesses, which equals 6.4 million are in small and medium-sized businesses. On this episode, we celebrate family businesses.
