The book of 1 Samuel, chapter 30 and verse 8 says this, “So David enquired of the LORD, saying, ‘Shall I pursue this troop? shall I overtake them?’ And He answered him, ‘Pursue: for you shall surely overtake them, and without fail recover all.’“
You know there are days in every life when hopelessness tries to invade the borders of our minds and our hearts. At these times it can feel like what we had was lost and our hope for the future is forever out of our reach.
Once, David felt like this, but he did what we should do, he prayed. And when he did, the pathway of God dawned in his heart once again. He was given the strength to get up and pursue the future that God has set before him. I want to tell you today, all is not lost. Pray today and ask God to show you what He has set before you.
