Bible Text: Revelation 2:1-7 | Preacher: Major Lisa Lloyd-Jones | Series: Special Occasions | In this church anniversary sermon, special guest Major Lisa Lloyd-Jones (Croydon Citadel) reminds us of the message to the church at Ephesus.
Forsaking Our First Love
The church was known for its deeds, but it in being so busy with activity, they had forgotten to do it in God’s presence. Jesus accuses them of having forsaken their first love, of having forgotten how important Jesus is in the life of the church.
Are We Guilty of Activity Without Love?
As Christians, and particularly as Salvationists, we too are sometimes guilty of being so busy we forget to be the people God calls us to be.
