If we believe, we forsake all to gain Christ. All of modern Christianity provides an alternative to coming to the Lord with all your heart.  What is preached everywhere is a compromise to have some of God while clinging to self, which is The Lie peddled by Satan since the garden. Satan sows doubt saying "hath God said?", "you can have it your way And His way", "you can know good And evil", "you can disobey God And be like Him". You cannot enter the kingdom of God while clinging to such lies.
