Today’s Podcast: Mental Toughness
It’s been said that sports is 90% mental and 10% physical. Not sure how they came up with that statistic, but there’s is no doubt whatsoever that what goes on in your child’s mind as he is playing is just as important as how well he can hit or throw the ball or run.
My guest this week is Jenn Starkey from MVP Leadership Academy. She is an expert on helping your athlete grow mental toughness. She does an amazing job with young athletes and has some great advice for parents wanting to help their children succeed in the mind game of sports.
