The Prettiest Flowers
verse 1
I know there is a land of beautiful flowers,
Where we will meet again when life is o'er;
Where we will while away the endless hours
on heaven's bright eternal shore
©Albert E Brumley
Memories, I see the light in your eyes
Evening breeze. waiting to bring a surprise
In the distance a song begins arriving on the wind
As you listen you seem to change
From stress to peace within
And I wonder, yes I wonder
I wonder yes I wonder
At your innocence
Verse 2
Memories, etched by a song in the night
Melody, carves out a place and a time
Like a photograph we are taken to
A place we used to know
Freeze-framed our path since shaped
By the actions we did sow
And I wonder, yes I wonder
I wonder yes I wonder
At our innocence
