Loneliness is not a respecter of persons! Whether you are CEO or the janitor, rich or poor, valedictorian or school dropout, we all struggle with loneliness. Especially during these holiday seasons, we struggle even more so with the memories of our losses and the loneliness they bring into our lives.
When we suffer loss or disappointment God has given us the capability to grieve that loss.  It's when we are unable to let go of our pain that loneliness takes us to places that we do not believe we can recover. We deeply question God's love for us or even if God truly exists. 
Our salvation and God's grace and love are not guarantees against suffering. 
Overcoming our loneliness is not about ignoring or pretending we haven't suffered loss. God is not offended by our crying out to Him concerning our loneliness, the Psalms are a picture of His people voicing their hearts complaint. 
During this Holiday Season, voice your loneliness to God and then find your comfort and refuge in His love.
