Matt was a travelling salesman. He sold just about anything that will put body and soul together . He went from city to city plying his trade. He had inherited same from his uncle who was reputed to be a great merchant.

Matt had left the small town he was raised to come assist his uncle Joe’s expanding trade. He would travel for weeks at a time, going from city to city making friends with the locals, enjoying their food and of course playing draft under the tree as the people of his time were wont to do. He made a sizable amount of money in the process; he also forged many worthwhile relationships.

On one of Matt’s trips, he stopped at a local café to grab something to eat. The lady behind the counter was fair eyed, and vertically challenged. But what she lacked in looks, she made up with her warm smile, a beautiful voice and a ‘can do’ spirit. She welcomed him to the café as if she had known him all her life.
