In the first hour, we wrap up the sugaring season with the man who wrote the book on the subject. Actually, Hale Mattoon of Chelsea has written a couple of maple sugaring tomes and he also has an incredible collection of maple sugaring equipment dating back to the 1700s. After that, we learn about The Logger’s upcoming show as Rusty Dewees stops by with Monica Callan of the Grange Hall Cultural Center in Waterbury. And we finish the show hearing about the fire and rescue squad that is staffed and managed by members of the St. Michael’s College community, as it has since 1969.
