This episode covers some of the surface level challenges of navigating life as a single in our 30's and the societal and cultural pressures that are tied to it. Being single is not a taboo and being married isn't our only purpose. Join us as we touch lightly on our experience thus far. 

The negative impact that stereotyping has on individuals is extremely dangerous. Black women have been victims of stereotyping  especially in the mainstream culture. Stereotypes such as aggressive, hostile, hot tempered, strong and difficult have negatively affected black women and their mental health. In this episode we discuss what stereotypes we've encountered and the various ways we can change the narrative of the "angry black woman".

They say marriage is hard work but being a second place girl is not an option. We've all dreamt of what life is like after the wedding, but sometimes those dreams can turn into unexpected nightmares in the blink of an eye. In this episode my courageous friend, opens up about her experience in marriage and the challenges she faced.
