We're joined by Jimmy Smith, Directory of the Office of Small Business Programs (Navy) to discuss his journey from engineering and program management to his present position. Mr. Smith assumed his responsibilities in June of 2019 and serves as the chief advisor to the Secretary on all small business matters. Mr. Smith has been charged with overseeing small business acquisition policy; strengthening government and private sector partnerships; and fostering opportunities to leverage small businesses as strategic advantage for the benefit of our warfighters.
