The Beatles got the words right, but the concept wrong. We misuse and misunderstand love today. Love is an action demonstrated to the unlovable. Doing good for those who do not deserve it. When Jesus healed the sick, gave hope to the hopeless, cleared the temple, sacrificed himself for us. None of us deserved it. He expressed his love for us in doing those things. His love was more than words. His love expressed itself in concrete actions for others.
