Dear Diary- The Self Love Podcast

Allow The Hard Seasons To Make You, Not Break You E30

Listen Later

I think it takes courage to go after what you really want. Courage to learn to be with yourself. Feel your feelings š‘’š“ˆš“…š‘’š’øš’¾š’¶š“š“š“Ž when it’s hardĀ andĀ youĀ areĀ in aĀ roughĀ season. It takes courage to lead yourself. To feel the feelings when you really just want to run & hide. To call yourself forward when you want to tap out. To move through growth with grace and to learn to take care of yourself through each stretch.Ā It takes courage to be with your monsters, and learn to dance with your darkness.

But for those courageous ones…Life is in chapters. And with every turning of a page, we stretch a bit, grow a bit, and learn to enjoy the ride. I’m choosing to grow through this next chapter with self compassion & grace. ImĀ choosingĀ me. Im choosing my practices and self care tools. Im choosing to grow through this difficult season instead of allowing it to swallow me whole. Im allowing these difficult seasons to stretch and grow me to my fullest. I choose me and with one step in front of the other and a ton of support, i choose to lean into my edges and peel back this massive layer of yuck. To discover whats underneath. My truest self. My strongest self. My fullest, highest self.

Just remember that you are not alone in these seasons, we are all moving through them at one time or another. They will become what you make of them, so i hope you dont allow them to break you. Reach out if you need resources or support.

XO, Amanda
