Repent and Believe!

Many of us Christians have heard about the word, repentance.

Its common translation of repent is “turn” or “return”. The Bible tells us to “turn to what is good” and the “turn” from evil. Brothers and sisters, it is crucial that we turn away from evil and RETURN TO GOD.

And yes, repentance is not only a once-in-a-lifetime act but a daily lifestyle. Return to GOD today my beloved brothers and sisters.

If we read the New Testament, the word repentance is translated as metanoia. Metanoia has two common definitions, “remorse/regret” and “change of mind.” We can find the word metanoia in both Matthew and Mark's gospel where our LORD and savior declared a public proclamation calling everyone to Repent!

Paul even preached both to Greeks and Gentiles in Acts 20:21!

“I have had one message for Jews and Greeks alike—the necessity of repenting from sin and turning to God, and of having faith in our Lord Jesus.”

Almighty God, I thank you for your forgiveness. Help me turn away from my sins and return to you heartily. Provide me the strength to abandon my mistakes and reach out to you instead. Convict me with my sin defeat my pride and accept your grace and mercy without shame.

Thank you for your life and love my LORD JESUS CHRIST. I believe in You and I believe that you have saved me and cleansed all my sins. I love you and praise you. This I pray, in Jesus’s Name, Amen.
