In this episode, Katherine talks to fellow remote year traveller, Alondo, about his career in tech and software development. Alondo talks about how his love for computers started at age 12 when he got a Tandy computer and started programming. Alondo discusses his early experiences working in tech support, and how that eventually led him into independent software development.

Alondo learned about Remote Year through Business Insider, and decided that he wanted to have a community while traveling. Alondo is a big proponent of saying yes to things you wouldn’t normally do or think you’d enjoy - he believes that we have to just accept and embrace the randomness and fluctuations in our lives.
