In this interview, the guys discuss how instinct, patience, and perspective shaped new songs such as Silent Divide, Playing Aces, and Slave To Master. They also reflect on why some tracks emerge quickly while others, such as their now classic Blackbird, demand months of persistence to get right.

Myles also reflects on stepping back from music after The Mayfield Four, turning down the opportunity to become the lead singer for Velvet Revolver back in 2002, to then awkwardly reuniting with Slash in 2009.

Whilst Mark shares how trust and outside projects, such as his solo band and Creed, have helped keep Alter Bridge remarkably stable for over two decades.

The guys also discuss their upcoming plans, including their upcoming tour with Daughtry and Sevendust.
