Creating an alternate ending to Clint Eastwood's "Mystic River" was a bit of a challenge for Rob Newton and Alex Tourje. The issue was that the film is so great and while the ending is sad, it is a fitting one. But that didn't stop Rob and Alex from giving the end more meaning or depth.
