The 8 years ago me was wide eyed and excited for Japan. After some time of just trying to find my way in the country, I eventually got the hang of it somewhat after a year or so. But, had I knew the following 10 things, I would have had a MUCH better time especially in the beginning. I hope at least a few of these 10 things I wish I knew back then help you right now!
