Cries From the Caribbean

Alvin Morris: Gone Too Soon

Listen Later

A school. A teacher. A crime scene that should have never existed.

In April 1999, Alvin Morris — a respected IT teacher and former cricketer — was found dead on the compound of Antigua Girls' High School.

What began as a quiet Easter weekend turned into one of Antigua’s most haunting unsolved cases.

He was last seen returning to the school… with someone following him.

Days later, his body was discovered behind the science lab.

A suspect was identified and a theory was formed.
But in the end… the case collapsed due to lack of evidence.

More than two decades later, questions still linger:

Who was really responsible? Was it a robbery gone wrong… or something more calculated? And how does a case like this remain unsolved?

This episode of Cries From the Caribbean revisits the timeline, the theories, and the silence that followed — while asking one important question: What really happened to Alvin Morris and why?
