In this Part 2 episode Rob Shanahan gives us a peek behind the scenes at the restoration of the Alfa Romeo Grand prix race cars, BAT number 5, TZ race cars, and other challenges he faced as head of restorations at Symbolic Motors in the 1980s and 90s in San Diego. Rob also lets us know what it’s like to judge at Pebble Beach and sometimes what happens when you choose the wrong shipper and what can happen afterwards. Rob also lets us in on his current and future projects. I hope you enjoy this look at restoring old Alfas and showing them at Pebble.
